Dr. Matthew Pediaditis received the Engineer's degree in Electrical Engineering - Biomedical Engineering from Graz University of Technology (TUG), Austria in 2008. He received his Ph.D. in 2014 from the Institute of Health Care Engineering, TUG, in collaboration with the Computational BioMedicine Laboratory, FORTH. His has experience in numerical electromagnetic field dosimetry, image and signal processing, as well as human motion analysis for medical applications based on computer vision. During his Ph.D. he worked on facial expression analysis in epilepsy. His current research is on video-based patient monitoring with focus on real-time alarming, patient health status modelling and anomaly detection.
